The origin of Korean chrysanthemum is still a mystery. Cumming in 1928, crossing a Siberian chrysanthemum with a cultivar Ruth hattonhaving received varieties that favorably differed in their sizes, shapes, bright colors. But the term “Korean” can be considered conditional. An independent species of Korean chrysanthemum can not be considered. But this does not stop gardeners from growing this beautiful flower.

Attracted by gardeners, the ability of Korean chrysanthemum to tolerate low temperatures. As a perennial plant, Korean chrysanthemum successfully wintered in the south of the country, and when using light shelter in central Russia and even in more northern regions. Perennial chrysanthemums in the open ground begin to bloom in early August and this continues until October.
