When guests are on the doorstep or have no time to prepare a gourmet dinner, cook sausages on skewers. It turns out a tasty and quite effective meat dish that will decorate the table. To cook it, you need a plate with a grill, but if you don’t have one, then grease the sausages with melted butter for 5-7 minutes before cooking and increase the temperature in the oven to 250 degrees to get a golden crust.

- 400 g chicken breast;
- 2 onions;
- pod of red chili;
- 50 ml cream;
- 3 tablespoons of oat bran;
- 15 g of dill;

The method of cooking sausages grilled chicken
Remove the meat from the bones, remove the skin. Grind the chicken fillet in a meat grinder or in a food processor. Stuffing can also be prepared without the use of these devices: tender meat is easy to grind with a sharp knife on a regular cutting board. We shift the minced meat into a mixing bowl.
We clean one head of onion from the husk, rub on a fine grater, add to the bowl.
We clear a small pod of hot chili peppers from partitions, remove seeds. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Be sure to try chili, as the degree of its hotness depends on the variety, sometimes a small piece is enough.
Pour cold cream into a bowl (20% fat). The fatter the cream, the tastier the sausages will be, because chicken is lean meat.
Finely chop a bunch of fresh dill, add to the minced meat. In addition to dill, you can put any greens to your taste - parsley, celery or cilantro.
Season the mass with dried thyme, ground red pepper, pour about a teaspoon of coarse salt without additives.
Pour oat bran into a bowl. Instead of oatmeal, you can take wheat or rye, but with oat bran you will get sausages without gluten.
Knead the ingredients thoroughly. It is best to lay the mass on a large chopping board and chop with a sharp knife for 5 minutes.
Soak bamboo skewers for 10 minutes in cold water. Divide the minced meat into 4-5 equal parts. Dip your hands in cold water. We form long sausages, put a bamboo skewer inside.
We clean the second head of onions, cut into rings with a thickness of 5 millimeters. We spray the baking sheet with non-stick coating with vegetable oil, put a layer of onion, on top raw sausages on skewers. Remove the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
We heat the oven to temperatures of 220 degrees Celsius. We put the pan on the middle shelf, bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn on the grill, cook under the grill for another 4-5 minutes, until a golden appetizing crust.
